Steve Maxwell admits he was wary at first, but has since become a supporter of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). In this video he explains why:

SIP structures use roughly half the energy of new stick-built homes
SIPs make it easier to build tight
SIP structures are up to 300% stronger than stick-frame
SIP walls go up faster than insulated stud frames
